W/O 1, R.C.A.F. ret'd Peacefully in hospital surrounded by his family on Saturday, September 29, 2001, age 87 years. Loving husband and best friend of Clara. Beloved father of Alan, Julie (Michel Landry) and the late Carol McGinnis. Devoted grandfather of Andrea, Benjamin, Andrew, Rebecca, Peter, Jennifer, Nicholas, Joshua, Phoebe and great-grandfather of Arden. "Adopted" grandfather of Daniela. Dear brother of Michael of Halifax, N.S., Lillian of Ottawa, and the late Colleen and Mary. Peter will also be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. The family wish to thank Dr. Dupuis, Dr. Wilkes and the many caring nurses at the Heart Institute. Friends may visit at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 1200 Ogilvie Road at Aviation Parkway on Tuesday, October 2nd, 2001 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Wednesday at 1 p.m. Memorial donations to the Heart Institute would be appreciated.
