(nee Coates). aka Granny Jo. Peacefully in Ottawa on September 29, 2001, in her ninety-first year. Wife of the late David MacKinnon. Loving mother of Jean Conabree (Frank), Helen Wilson and June Hollands. Predeceased by her sons Colin Malcolm and Lachlan. Mother-in-law of Monique Darveau, Huguette Dussault and Mildred Crawford. Sister of Phyllis Bryant Freda Paiement (Harry), the late Gladys Robinson, the late Kathleen Bremner and the late Tom Coates. Also left to mourn are eighteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.
