Passed away peacefully, Saturday, September 29, 2001 at the Perley Rideau Veteran's Hospital with his wife Elizabeth (Rowe) at his side. A graveside service was held at St. John's Anglican Church in Ancaster, Ontario. He is sadly missed by his family. The Ottawa Citizen, October 20, 2001
