1924 - 2001. Surrounded in the love of his family on Sunday, September 30, 2001. Beloved husband of fifty-seven years of Mary (nee Bazyk). Loving father and father-in-law of Lesia (Gino Sangiovanni) and Irene (Michel Venne). Devoted grandfather of Andrea (Scott Emery), Daria, Alessandro (Valerie Inukpuk), Paolo Sangiovanni and Marc Venne. Proud great-grandfather of Katrin, Juliet and Dorothy. Dear brother and brother-in-law of the late Stella (Joe Ruzilo), Terry (Wanda) and Pauline and Stan Palinsky. Will be sadly missed by nieces and nephews, godchildren, relatives and friends. Visitation at Urgel Bourgie, 1750 Notre Dame St., Lachine (corner 18th Avenue), Tuesday, October 2 from 2-5 and 7-10 p.m. Panachyda on Tuesday at 8 p.m. Funeral mass at St. Basil the Great Ukrainian Catholic Church, 875 Provost Street, Lachine on Wednesday, October 3 at 11 a.m. Interment at Lachine Cemetery.
