Born April 26, 1918 in Wilno, Poland. Retired from Shell Canada in Montreal in 1983 after 32 years service in mechanical engineering. Passed away peacefully on September 30, 2001 at the age of 83 years in Waterloo, Quebec after a brave struggle with a lengthy illness. Loving and devoted father of Alicja J.B. Lukaszewicz-Southall of Chicago (formerly of Montreal). Dear brother of Wanda Fragner and uncle of Artur Skoryna of Quebec, also mourned by son-in-law Graham D. Southall. Survived and remembered by his spouse Barbara Lipowski, and also by friends in North America and Europe. Predeceased by father Witold (1926), first wife Josephine Bentley (1973), mother Wanda (1988), and brother Roman (2001). Funeral on November 4 at 1:30 p.m., Creek United Church, 278 Brill Rd. (corner of Quilliams Rd.), in West Bolton, Quebec, near Foster. Interment at Glen Sutton Cemetery.
