(nee Casey) In hospital, Sunday, September 30, 2001 after a valiant battle with cancer at age 57. Linda left us to join her parents, Walter and Gertie (Rousson). She leaves behind her beloved husband Bob, best friend and camping buddy of 37 years. Cherished Mom of Scott and Greg (Tamara Jean-Louis), special Granny to Alexis and Athena. She will be dearly missed by her brothers and sisters, Judy (Archie Gauthier), Tom, Sandi (Brad Howard) and Les. Linda worked for the British Government in Washington and Ottawa for over 37 years. She served as Queen, Daughters of the Nile Sakina Temple No. 145, where she helped raise money for the Shriners Hospitals. A Memorial service will be held Saturday, October 6 at 10 a.m., Woodvale Pentecostal Church, 205 Greenbank Road, Nepean. Her wish would be that you think of her when you see a trailer on the highway. She was always there for us and will remain forever in our hearts. Donations to the Breast Cancer Research or the Shriners Hospital, Montreal, appreciated. The Ottawa Citizen, October 4, 2001
