Basil Orrin DAWLEY

Peacefully, at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital, on Wednesday, October 3, 2001, in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Ruby (nee Cinnamon) of Winchester. Loving father of Leslie (Helen), Brampton; Dwayne (Ruth), Edmonton, Alberta; Carman, Calgary, Alberta and Carole Miklian (Ferenc), Morrisburg, Ontario. Brother of Dwight (Myrtle), Winchester; Stirling (Marion), Simcoe; Raymond (Dorothy), Ottawa and Lula Hanes of Winchester. Also survived by 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren and daughter-in-law Marilyn of Elliot Lake. Basil was predeceased by son Glen and sister Wilma. He was a member of Legion Branch #108, Winchester and Henderson Masonic Lodge #383. Resting at the Winchester Funeral Home, 505 Church Street, where friends and relatives may call on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m., Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Masonic Service to be held on Friday at 8:30 p.m. Funeral Service to be held on Saturday, October 6 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of the Funeral Home.
