Edith ROGERS

At Central Park Lodge on Wednesday, October 3, 2001, Edith Duffell (nee Rogers) in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Dr. Stanley Duffell. Loving mother of Diane Chiasson (Gilles) of Cumberland and Rod of Gloucester. Cherished grandmother of Lauren and Alison Duffell. Niece of Samuel Rogers of Toronto. Dear aunt of Brian Anderson (Del), John Rogers (Sandi), David Rogers (Nora) and the late Brock Rogers (Linda). Predeceased by brothers Albert (Mel), George (Irene) and Walter Rogers and by sister Dorothy Anderson (Orval). Survived by sister-in-law Joyce "Teddy" Rogers. Edith will be fondly remembered by her cottage friends and neighbours at Bob's Lake and the ladies of the Thursday Craft Group. Special thanks to Dr. Jodi Rumstein, her long-time physician, and the wonderful staff at Central Park Lodge #2 for their kind and compassionate care. Friends may visit at the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 150 Woodroffe Avenue, at Richmond Road, Ottawa on Thursday, October 4 from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Friday, October 5 after 2 p.m. Funeral Service in the Chapel at 3 p.m. with reception to follow.
