In his eighty-eighth year on Thursday, October 4, 2001. Beloved husband of the late Gabriella. Loving father of Dr. Rosemarie (Don), Kathy (Cindy). Dear father-in-law of the late Dr. Elliott Sokoloff. Cherished Grandpa of Amanda, and Zachary. Dear brother of Pityu and predeceased by his nine other siblings. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all who knew him. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Sunday, October 7 at 1:15 p.m. Burial at the King George Association Cemetery, de la Savane. In lieu of gifts or flowers, donations may be made to the "Louis Krausz Memorial Fund" c/o the Jewish General Hospital Foundation. He was a fascinating storyteller who shared the experiences of his early life in Hungary as well as the Holocaust with everyone he loved, and drew life and strength from lively memories.
