Retired employee of Black and McDonald of Ottawa. Peacefully at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital, on Saturday, October 6, 2001, at the age of 82. Beloved husband of Nancy (nee Sparling) of Chesterville. Loving father of Donald (Marion), Robert, Patricia (Paul), Peggy (John). Survived by 12 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren. Also survived by sisters Betty Cross (Albert) and June Pitt (Lyle) and daughter-in-law Patricia. Predeceased by son Richard. Hulbert was a member of the Canadian Legion Branch #434, Chesterville. Resting at the Chesterville Funeral Home, 62 Queen Street, where friends may call on Monday, October 8, from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday, October 9, at 10 a.m. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, October 9, at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of the Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Maple Ridge Cemetery. Donations to a charity of choice would be gratefully acknowledged by the family. The Ottawa Citizen, October 7, 2001
