1932-2001. Peacefully returned to her Creator on Tuesday, October 9, 2001 at the SMBD - Jewish General Hospital at the age of sixty-nine with her closest friends at her bedside. She took an early retirement from JGH to enjoy the love of her life, traveling around the world. She worked with the Mother Cabrini Congregation and as a lay missionary with the Apostolic Society of Good News of Divine Mercy, Belize, Central America. She was a remarkable lady to her family and numerous friends. She is survived by her two older sisters - Flor Pardinez and Pasquala Montalvo and by countless nieces and nephews; grand-nephews and grand-nieces in Canada, USA and the Philippines. Thank you to the Staff of 8NW JGH for their excellent care and support and to all her friends who were very supportive of her up to the last moment. A funeral mass will be held at the Cathedrale Marie Reine du Monde - Paroise St. Jacques (Chapelle) at 1085 de la Cathedrale on Friday, October 19, 2001 9:30 a.m. Rev. Andre Desroches will be celebrating the mass. Cremation will follow at the Cote des Neiges Funeral Crematorium, 4525 Cote des Neiges, Montreal, Qc. Donations can be made to the Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart, c/o Diane Molle Columbus Convent, 215 East 21st St. New York, New York, 10010, USA, or to the charity of your choice, will be appreciated.
