Passed away suddenly on Wednesday, October 10, 2001 at the age of seventy years. Beloved husband of Mary Varga. Devoted father of Ken (Sylvie) and John Chantal). Loving grandfather of Marie-Katherine and a future grandchild. Cherished by his brothers Nicholas (Mary), Herbert (Nicole) and by his sister Katharina. John will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his mother-in-law, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and many good friends. Resting at M.A. Blythe Bernier Funeral Home, 940 Ogilvy Avenue (at Stuart), Park Extension. Visitation will be on Sunday, October 14 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at St. Boniface Church, 3751 Hotel de Ville (at Pine Avenue) on Monday, October 15 at 11 a.m. Thence to the Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery.
