Peacefully in hospital on Monday, October 15, 2001 aged 74 years. Beloved husband of Joy Ann (nee Sadler). Dear father of David and Wendy. Also survived by one sister Dorothy Hirst, one brother James Semper and nieces and nephews. Friends may visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair and McGarry, 315 McLeod Street, Thursday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, October 19, 2001 at 2 p.m. Interment Pinecrest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute or the Arthritis Society would be appreciated by the family. The Ottawa Citizen, October 17, 2001
