OMM, CD, OLJ Former LCol Commanding Canadian Grenadier Guards Died peacefully at home in Hamilton, Ontario after a long illness. Former Lieutenant-Colonel Commanding the Canadian Grenadier Guards from 1972 to 1976 and from 1982 to 1985. He served a loyal career with the Canadian Armed Forces Reserves extending well over 35 years. A senior bank Executive with The Bank of Montreal working both in Montreal and Toronto with a career spanning 36 years. He is survived by his sister Hella Breiham of Flensburg, Germany. A true friend and gentlemen to all who knew him, he will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 20th, 2001 at 1400h Christ Church Cathedral, Montreal, Quebec with interment at the National Military Cemetery, Ottawa, Ontario on October 24th, 2001 at 1400h.
