John William EMMERSON

Peacefully in hospital Wednesday, October 17, 2001 after a long courageous battle with cancer. John Emmerson age 73. Beloved husband of Jean Favreau for 56 years. Loved father of Garry (Brenda), Harold (Debbie), David (Theresa), Jeannie (Steve Pomainville), Joannie (Bob Perreault), Gerald (Eleanor), Lyle (Nicole), Theresa (Bob), Richard (Lauri) and Kerry (Kim), all of Ottawa. Fondly remembered by his grandchildren Natasha, Juanita, Kelly, Scotty, Shawn, Sonny, Christina, Jamie, Christopher, Mandy, Charlie, Kevin, Stacey, Tracey, Trevor, Tammy, Joey, Bobby, Shannon, Kenny, Lindsay, Cody, Chase, and his great-grandchildren and countless friends. Dear brother of Netti (Jimmy), Viola (Lyle), Leonord (Willamina) and Leona (Gerald). Predeceased by brother Sherman, daughters Evelyn and Gail, and grandson Troy. A special heartfelt thanks goes out to the nursing staff at the Ottawa Hospital General Campus for their kind support and patience with our family. (east of Bank) Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Monday to St. Michael and All Angels Church for Service at 10 a.m. Interment Pinecrest Cemetery.
