(nee Barss). Born Dartmouth, NS Acadia University, 1942 Died peacefully in her sleep on Friday, October 19, 2001, at Carleton Lodge, Ottawa. Cherished wife of John and beloved mother of Elinor, Kathryn Holman and the late Gretchen Cross. Loving grandmother of Patrick, Kaitlyn and Alexander. Predeceased by her sister Mary, her brother John and cousin Lawrence Johnson. The family wishes to express its gratitude for the caring attention and support given by the staff of Carleton Lodge.
