Charlie died unexpectedly, but gently, at home in Brooke Valley, near Perth, Ontario on 20th October 2001, aged 87. Charlie was the caring father of Alex, David, Tim and Stephen. The loving companion of Pauline Morency and dear husband to the late Catherine (Harvey) Seaborn. Charlie's thoughtfulness, his generosity of spirit, his compassion, and his shared sense of humour enriched the lives of so many, and made extended family of all who shared the pleasure of his company. A memorial celebration of a life well-lived will be held at Brooke Valley School, 13 km. west of Perth, at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 3rd.
