Age 84. (S/L ret'd), beloved father, died on Sunday, October 21, 2001 at his Victoria residence. Born in Ottawa; joined the RAF; completed training in Gladiators and Valentias in Egypt; found romance and lifelong love in Cairo with a wonderful RAF nurse; POW in Germany; transferred to the RCAF post war, becoming involved with NORAD radar defence; Queen's University alumnus; worked on Bay street using Technical Analysis. An avid skier; retired to Victoria, to enjoy tennis, reading, study, bridge and investing. Predeceased by wife, G.M. (Jane) and sisters Mary and Ruth. mourned by son Terry, cousins Louis, Helen, Rita and Berbie, nephew and niece Jim and Julie, friends Lornie and Win, and other relatives and friends in Canada and the U.K. We love you, Pop. Always. A Memorial Mass will be said on Wednesday, October 31st at St. Andrew's Cathedral in Victoria, B.C. at 12:10 p.m. A private reception for friends and neighbours will follow, from 2 to 4 p.m., in the Guest Suite at 1033 Belmont Avenue.
