Died peacefully at Grace d'Art Extended Care on Monday, October 22, 2001 at noon. He leaves to mourn his wife of 55 years May (nee Monk), his children, Lynda (John) of Dorval, Gary of Australia, Corrine (Oly) of Seattle and Pat (Gwen) of Toronto. Grandchildren Brianna, Olivia and Lynn and extended family Malcolm and Margaret Coker. He will be missed by his surviving siblings; sisters, Alma (Fred) of Detroit, Doris of Toronto, Ida (Bob) of Toronto, Evelyn (Phil) of Chalk River, Phylis (Gerald) of St. Georges, Nfld. and brother Frank (Kathy) of Terrace, B.C. as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Born in St. Georges Newfoundland, he served in the R.A.F. from 1939-1945. The family wish to acknowledge the wonderful care given by Kate, Andre, Steve, Eddy and the many others of the 5th floor - thank you. Visitation will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, October 26 followed by service and interment at Mount Royal Funeral Complex, 1297 Ch. De la Foret. kindly donate to the charity of your choice.
