On Thursday, October 25, 2001. Beloved husband of the late Elka Bidder. Loving companion of Marcelle Duplaix. Devoted and respected father and father-in-law of Charles and Leah of Haifa, Livia and David Goldenblatt of Haifa, Barbara and Saul Levine. Dearest grandfather of Yadin, Dana and Ori Shaikovitz, Dan and Uli, Ilan,Tali and Yael Goldenblatt; Marla, Daniel Elie and Brahm Levine. Brother of the late Malka Mirman, the late Mercha Ludmer, the late Leah Brown, the late Abie, the late Minnie Ludmer, and the late Ben. Special Uncle Archie to his many nieces, nephews and their families. The family would like to extend their thanks and gratitude to the exceptional staff of Chateau Westmount, especially the nurses and caregivers of the 4th floor. Funeral service will take place from Shaare Zion Congregation, 5575 Cote St. Luc Road, on Friday, October 26 at 2 p.m. Burial and shiva in Haifa, Israel.
