(September 8, 1977 - October 26, 2001). Peacefully after a long and courageous fight with brain cancer at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, surrounded by her family and friends. Loving daughter of Terry and Lorraine. Dear sister of Tracy Lee (Joseph Clark) and Tara (Dave Coito), favourite aunt of Camryn and Ashlyn. Special niece of Chuck and Clare Dozais, Laurie and Mildred Galarneau, Uncle Fred and the large extended Evanshen family. Jennifer will always be in the hearts of true friends Chad, Morgan, Jamie, Tami, Michelle, Brent, Jennifer (J.J.), Kenn and Vicki Kelly and their families. The family would like to thank Dr. Laparriere and Dr. Mason and the special people at the Gerry and Nancy Pencer Brain Tumor Centre at Princess Margaret Hospital and all the staff in the I.C.U. unit and the Palliative Care unit at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, and our extended family at the C.N.I.B. Durham for all their support during this difficult time. Heartfelt thanks to Father Phil Jones for his spiritual guidance. Jennifer was a care giver to Fig, Simba and Teddy who will sadly miss her touch and kindness. Jennifer was an angel sent from God and knew how to live life to the fullest. Funeral Mass at St. Gertrude's Catholic Church, 690 King Street East, Oshawa on Monday, October 29 at 11 a.m. Donations to Lakeridge Health Oshawa (Oncology) or Princess Margaret Hospital, Jerry and Nancy Pencer Brain Tumor Centre or C.N.I.B.
