At the Winchester Hospital on Monday, October 29, 2001, Ida Alkenbrack (nee Schryver) of Morrisburg, in her 89th year. Loving companion of Gerry Badour. Predeceased by husbands Hirum Veley, Fred Sherman and John Alkenbrack. Loving mother of Muriel McLean (Bernie Lafontaine) of R.R.#2, Williamsburg, Fred (Yvonne) Veley of Morrisburg, Reg (Linda) Veley of R.R.#1, Morrisburg, Betty (Don) Casselman of R.R.#2, Williamsburg, Shirley Froats (Brian Crites) of Prescott, and Frederick Sherman (Anita Pruner) of Cardinal. Ida will be sadly missed by 29 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Predeceased by an infant daughter Roseanne Veley, a daughter Jean Desrosiers, and grandsons David Casselman and Jason Hill. Friends may call at the Marsden and McLaughlin Funeral Home, Williamsburg on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service at the Funeral Home on Thursday, November 1st at 11 a.m. Interment New Union Cemetery, Williamsburg.
