It is with tremendous sorrow that the family announces the passing of Donald, with his family at his side, at the Ottawa General Hospital, on Saturday, November 3rd, 2001, in his 59th year. Loving husband of Ann Cross (nee Porteous) of Chesterville. Beloved father of Brent (friend Jody) of Ottawa and Brenda (Craig) of Paris, Ontario. Dear grandfather of Adam, Brent and Matt. Survived by brother David and sisters Marlene Black (Douglas) and Nancy Edgerton (John). Predeceased by his parents Willis and Helen Cross. He was a member of the Chesterville Legion and the Hunters Road Hunt Club. As per Donnie's "Tackit" wishes there will be no visitation. Memorial Service to be held at Maple Ridge Cemetery on Saturday, November 10, 2001, at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment of ashes in the family plot. The Ottawa Citizen, Nov. 5, 2001
