Suddenly at home on Monday, November 5, 2001. In his fifthy-seventh year. Beloved husband of June (nee Orr). Loving father of Steven, Andrew (Sarah), Michael and David. Cherished grandfather of Ruby. Dear son of Joan Scannell and the late Bill. Sadly missed brother of Douglas, Brian (Judy), Bruce (Vicky), Heather Thompson (Len) and William (Wilma) and his many nieces, nephews and friends from all over the world. Friends may call at Oshawa Funeral Service, "Thornton Chapel", 847 King Street West for visitation on Thursday, November 8 from 6 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Friday, November 9, 2001 at 1 p.m. Followed by Cremation at Thornton Cemetery.
