Peacefully at the St. Vincent de Paul Hospital, Brockville, Ontario on Thursday, November 8, 2001. Arthur Leslie Lowe, at the age of eighty-three years. Beloved husband of Beatrice Glickman Lowe formerly of Montreal. Loving father of Dr. Ronald Lowe of British Columbia and Elaine Lowe of Brockville. Dear grandfather of Deborah, Jennifer and Shayna. Survived by his sister Mabel Wilson of England, his niece Margaret Pigott and her husband Peter and their son Colin. Will be sadly missed by several nieces, nephews and extended family members. Predeceased by his parents Percy and Jenny and by brothers Alfred, Frederick and Albert and sisters Lil and Em. Arhtur served as a proud member of the Royal Air Force in England and served in South Africa during World War II. Funeral Services will be held at the Beth Israel Synagogue, 116 Centre Street, Kingston on Sunday, November 11 at 2:30 p.m. Private burial to follow in Cataraqui Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or charity of one's choice will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
