Peacefully in his ninety-second year, surrounded by his family on Saturday, November 10, 2001. Beloved husband of Bertha Marcovitch. Loving father and father-in-law of Gerry and Marilyn, Sandra and Sheldon Kirshner, Frances and Doug Nelson, Dr. Richard and Sandy. Brother of the late Sadie Koopferstock, the late Becky Graner, the late Harry, the late Arthur, and dear brother-in-law of Ida Lerner. Cherished grandfather of Andrew Satin, Lisa Satin and fiance Jason Stevens; Jodi and Mitchell Tessler; Michael, Jennifer and Jeffrey Nelson; Jamie and Cheryl Satin, Dr. David Satin and fiancee Dr. Suzan Ekim, and Jill Satin. Great grandfather of Shayne and Madison Tessler.
