In hospital with grace and dignity on Monday, November 12, 2001 at the age of 59. Jim leaves behind his wife May (nee Barnes), son Donny, daughter Alison, step-sons Dereck, Trevor and Ian and step-daughter Jessica, mother Myrtle Goff, brother Vern, sister-in-law Jane Sheppard and his grand-daughter Emma. Jim's zest for life, kindness, strength and loyalty inspired those who knew him. He will remain in our hearts forever. Friends may call at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road, Nepean (between Baseline Road and Bayshore Drive) on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A celebration of Jim's life will be held at St. Martin de Porres Roman Catholic Church, 3891 Richmond Road on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. Cremation.
