Peacefully on Monday, November 12, 2001 in her 86th year. Beloved wife of the late Arthur W. Macartney. Dear mother of Donna Appleton, Leslie (Sarah), Allen (Denise), Lyle (Ellen) of Shelburne, Vermont and Bruce (Cathy) of Vancouver BC. Loving grandmother of Julie, Lauren, Karen, Colleen, Drew, Elico, Derek, Chantal, Craig, Hanna and Keenan. Predeceased by brother Thomas Keenan (Nepean) and sisters Iris Stewart and Muriel Rollins. Friends may visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod St., on Wednesday, November 14, 2001 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at St. Timothy's Presbyterian Church, 2400 Alta Vista Drive (near Heron Rd.) on Thursday, November 15, 2001 at 10 a.m. Reception to follow.
