W.R.C.N.S. W.W. II Peacefully in Brockville General Hospital on Thursday, November 15, 2001; the former Eleanor Frances Claire Chinn at the age of 75 years. Beloved wife of the late Donovan Clement Filewod with whom she shared a voyage that lasted 53 years. Proud mother and grandmother of Garrick and his daughters Amelia and Alison; Alan and his son Clement; Diana and her children Hugh, Julie and Ruth; daughter-in-law Eleanor Crowder and her sons Niall and Benjamin Filewod and her husband Bernd Esche and his children Martin and Eleanor. Also survived by her sister Marilyn Kay of Toronto and her family, and by her aunt Claire Hodgens of Thornhill. Predeceased by her third son Ian, and an infant son Lawrence. Family and friends may pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville, on Sunday. and on Monday after 12 noon. In celebration of Eleanor's life a ceremony will be held in the Chapel on Monday at 1 p.m. Donations to the Hospice of Providence Palliative Care or the Canadian Cancer Society will be gratefully acknowledged.
