With great dignity and courage at home, after a lengthy illness, on Thursday, November 15, 2001. Surrounded by her much beloved husband Sydney, her children Jonathan and Maxine, Jill and Marc Lieberman, David and Jody. Cherished and extremely proud grandmother of Dara, Derek and Alexandra; Daniel, Laurie and Erin. She is survived by her dear sister and brother-in-law Norma Betty and Robert Benson, her brother and sister-in-law Marvyn and Bernice Grover, her nieces, nephews and cousins. Her optimistic leadership, brilliant wit, cheerful and generous nature benefited all who crossed her path. She will be greatly missed. Many thanks to Drs. Margaret Warner and Chaim Shustik for their care and consideration. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff on floors 8M and 9S of the Royal Victoria Hospital. Grateful thanks to her caregivers Dorothy, Luciana, Jo and Esperanza, who provided Geraldine with exceptional care, gentleness and understanding. The family wants to especially thank Dr. Piche, nurse Mme. Armande, and all the staff of CLSC Metro. All these beautiful people sustained her with a quality of life and contentment. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Monday, November 19 at 1 p.m. Burial at Temple Emanu-El Beth Shalom Congregation Section, Mt. Royal Cemetery.
