Peacefully at home in Rhinebeck, N.Y. at the age of eighty-seven. Beloved husband of Ellen Rost, adored father and father-in-law of Sheila and Phillip Lackman and Brenda and Sorin Gluck of Toronto. Cherished and extremely proud Zade Gerald of Jodi Lackman and Murray Mincoff, Felice Lackman, Barbara and Brad Lenet, Rebecca and David Gluck. Great Zade of Jeremy Ryan Lackman-Mincoff. Brother of the late Irwin Steinhart and brother-in-law of Ilse Steinhart of Toronto. He will be sadly missed by family and friends. Graveside service on Wednesday, November 21, 10:45 a.m., Section 7 Gan Shalom, Kehal Israel Cemetery, Sources Blvd., Dollard des Ormeaux.
