Nancy MILNER

That lovely flower is gone from our garden. At her home on Wednesday, November 21, 2001, Nancy died peacefully after a short illness at age 66. Daughter of the late Thomas Milner and Annie Rice of Dublin. Dear wife and best friend of Philip Donnelly. Beloved mother of Marie (Brian Elliott) of Ottawa, Brian (Lesley Hopkins) of Halifax, Nancy (Brent Volk) of Kitimat, and Thomas (Darlene Larabie) of Belleville. Ever kind and playful Nonna of Benjamin and Caitlin, Marlee and Kevin, Jamie and Liam, Grace and Sarah. Dear sister of John Milner of Stratford, Connecticut and Thomas Milner of Clontarf, Dublin. Predeceased by her much-loved brother William. Dear to the hearts of her sisters-in-law Peggy Milner of Clontarf, Margaret Milner of Dalkey, and Betty Donnelly of Dublin. Nancy (or Anne Marie by her full name) was born in Downers Grove, Chicago, and grew up in Dublin. She treasured her nieces, nephews, and their families in Dublin and Connecticut. Her kind and faithful friends from schooldays and later life were always precious to her, and she valued most highly the friendship of her Elliott, Hopkins, Volk and Larabie in-laws. Friends may call at the Westboro Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 403 Richmond Rd. at Roosevelt on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass at St. John The Apostle Catholic Church at 2340 Baseline Road, Saturday, November 24 at 10:30 a.m., followed by interment at Pinecrest Cemetery.
