On Wednesday, November 21, 2001 at the age of 63 years. Charles died peacefully at home in Crest Hill, Illinois after a long illness. Beloved husband of Elizabeth (Brown). Loving father of Elizabeth Methvin, Charles Methvin II. Survivors from previous marriage Debbi Schmolt (Methvin), Deanna Eager-Methvin, Kristen Stout (Methvin), Michael Methvin, Stephen Methvin of Phoenix, Arizona. Dear brother of Richard Methvin of Florida. Will be forever remembered and loved by his grandchildren of 8. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Andrew's United Church, Beachburg, Ontario on Saturday, January 5, 2002 at 2 p.m. For those desiring, donations to the Renfrew Victoria Hospital Foundation would be appreciated in memory of Charles.
