On November 21, 2001 peacefully at home, Ted (Edward Bertram) Powell, aged 83, electrical engineer and auto racing enthusiast. Husband of Dorothea. Father to John, Gay and Carol. Godfather to Alexandra Conliffe and Michael Podmore. Interment private. Memorial celebration later. Those wishing to express condolences may sign the book of remembrance at the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 150 Woodroffe Avenue at Richmond Road during the week of November 26.
