Peacefully surrounded by her family at home after a courageous battle with cancer, Thursday, November 22, 2001. Sharon Laverty age 52. Beloved wife of John Liivoja. Loving mother of Brenda Smith (David), Karen Gallop (John) of Brooklin and Cheryl. Cherished grandma of Tommy, Amanda and Tyler and beloved nanny of Nyssa and Braeden. Dear sister of Gerald (Carmen) of Texas, Margaret Melnick (Ray) of B.C., Harold (Ghislaine) of France, Kenneth (Kathy), Sally Falsetto (John) and Ronald (Claire) of Cornwall. Loved daughter-in-law of Eduard Liivoja and Astrid Korgemagi and sister-in-law of Robert (Anne) of Ajax and will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her loving parents Gerald and Celina (Larocque) Laverty and brothers Donald and Regis. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 3000 Woodroffe Ave., Nepean (south of Fallowfield Rd.) Saturday from 2 to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Monday to St. Patrick's Church, Fallowfield for Mass of Christian Funeral at 11 a.m. Interment Parish Cemetery.
