Peacefully on Thursday, November 22, 2001, at the age of 87. Predeceased by her loving husband Gordon. Dear sister to Harry McGuirl (Peggy) and Norman "Duke" McGuirl (Sharron). Special aunt to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Norman and Margaret (Mason) McGuirl, her sisters Florence Alger and Margaret Alderice and her brother Stanley McGuirl. At Ada's request there will be no visitation. A Graveside Committal service will be held on Saturday, November 24, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. at Pinecrest Cemetery, (2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa). Those wishing may make a memorial donation to the Peter D. Clarke Long Term Care Facility or Island Lodge whose staff took such wonderful loving care of Ada. The Ottawa Citizen, Nov. 23, 2001
