At the Township of Osgoode Care Centre on Saturday, November 24th, 2001, Robert James Armstrong of Carlsbad Springs in his 88th year. Born April 12, 1914, in Belfast, Ireland, he came to Canada at the age of 14 and shared his life with 5 generations of Andersons. Loved by them; Robert and Norma Anderson, Howard (Doris), Grant (Wendy) and Douglas; late Bill Anderson, his wife Heather, Susan, Laurie (Jennifer) and Sandra. Brother of Samuel and uncle of five nieces and nephews all of Belfast, Ireland. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Duncan Funeral Home, 6971 Bank Street (formerly Highway 31, between Scrivens Drive and Metcalfe Corner) from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday. Funeral Tuesday in the Chapel for Service at 11 a.m. Committal service and interment to take place at Ramsayville Cemetery. A time of refreshment and fellowship will be held at Bethany United Church, Ramsayville, immediately following the committal Service.
