WWII Veteran Retired teacher Algonquin College With deep sorrow the family of Jack Randall announces his passing on Saturday, December 1, 2001 at age 78. Born in North Battleford, Saskatchewan, son of the late Frank and Phyllis Randall and predeceased by his sister Eileen. Devoted husband of Donna (nee Nesbitt), beloved father of Bob and Mary, Gary and Francine, Rick, Marilyn and David Yates. Proud and loving Poppa of Zandra, Chilo, Andrea, Noah, Dylan and Michelle. Lovingly remembered by his niece Gail Montague. Jack was a flight instructor during WWII, graduated from McGill University, Chemical Engineering, then re-enlisted in the Air Force to serve from 1952 to 1972. Following his retirement from the Forces, Jack taught mathematics at Algonquin College, Woodroffe Campus, until 1985. Many thanks to the caring and compassionate staff on Ward F7, Ottawa Hospital Civic Campus. Friends may visit at the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 150 Woodroffe Avenue at Richmond Road on Wednesday, December 5, 2001 from 7 to 9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, December 6, 2001 at 1 p.m. with a reception to follow.
