(December 21, 1922 - December 1, 2001) Retired engineer, veteran Pilot-Captain of the RCAF, long-time Scout Master, avid sports enthusiast and builder of dreams died peacefully in the Ottawa General Hospital on Saturday, December 1, 2001. John is the beloved husband of Lois (Pennycook), dear father of Mary Lynn, Heather, John and Laurel and grandfather (Grumps & Grumperman) of Christy, Liam, Jonathan and Tiffany. Grumps will be fondly remembered by all whose lives he touched. Many thanks to the caring staff at the Ottawa General Hospital.
