Peacefully at Kipling Acres, Toronto, on Tuesday December 4, 2001 at age 91. Loving wife of the late Ken Evans and dear mother of Carolyn Bowker and William Evans and mother-in-law of Alan Bowker and Jane Evans. She will be missed by her grandchildren Elizabeth, Sarah, Mark and John. The family wish to thank the staff of Kipling Acres 3 South for their care of Bernice over the past 10 years. Special appreciation to Kerri-Lynn Weston for her loving care and support of Bernice. Friends may call at Turner & Porter "Yorke" Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. West, at Windermere, east of the Jane subway, from 7-9 p.m. Thursday and 1-2 p.m. on Friday at the church. A Celebration of Bernice's life will be held at Royal York Road United Church, 851 Royal York Road, (three blocks south of Bloor St.) Toronto on Friday, December 7, 2001 at 2 p.m. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society or to the Cancer Care Ontario, 620 University Avenue, Toronto, Extension 1515 would be gratefully appreciated.
