(Stella, North Carolina) In hospital, Saturday, December 8, 2001, New Bern, North Carolina, after a courageous battle with multiple myeloma and COPD. Shirley is survived by her husband, Bernie Bugos, her children Tim (Pepperdine), Pittsburg, Pennsylvania and Dulci (David Tennyson), Ottawa, Ontario. Also by her grandson K.C., and her brother Tony Hendry (Barbara), Halifax, Nova Scotia. Shirley was predeceased by a daughter Shelley, and her parents Thelma Marjorie and George Lennox Hendry. Memorial service to take place Tuesday, December 11, 2001, Morehead City, North Carolina. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Lung Association are appreciated.
