(W.W. II VETERAN) Jan. 5, 1917 - Dec. 11, 2001) Peacefully in hospital, Almonte, Ontario on Tuesday, December 11, 2001 at age 84. Herbert Freeman Quantrill, beloved husband of the late Doris Glinz by a first marriage and Margaret McMunn by a second marriage. Dear father of Harvey (Carolyn), Amherstview, Ontario; Bonnie (Mrs. Don Kernaghan), Belleville; Leslie (Cliff) Carroll, Almonte and Robert (Carolyn), Dunrobin. Dear brother of Pat (George) Anderson, London, Ontario and Robert of Cobourg. Also survived by 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by 1 sister Dorothy Woods and son-in-law Don Kernaghan. Friends may call at the Kerry Funeral Home, 154 Elgin Street, Almonte, Ontario for visiting on Thursday from 12:00 noon until Service time in the Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Jim Ferrier officiating. Cremation, Ottawa. Interment of ashes at Capital Memorial Gardens, Ottawa. Donations made to ALS or The Almonte General Hospital would be appreciated by the Quantrill family.
