Valiantly after a courageous and determined battle, surrounded by his family on Thursday, December 13, 2001, Bert Duncan of Poltimore, Quebec. Beloved husband of Martha. Devoted father to Don, Cindy and Brent. Proud Papa of; Allen and Scott Duncan; Trevor, Sarah-Lacey and Chloe McMillan and Shane and Sherry Duncan. Dear brother of Joan Scharf. Father-in-law of Myles McMillan, Debbie Lennox-Duncan and Jennifer Cheslock-Duncan. Predeceased by his parents Wilbert and Donalda Duncan and by his brother Don. Bert was an active farmer, retired from Ottawa Hydro, the Inkerman Rockets and a graduate of Ryerson. Friends may visit at the McGarry Memorial Chapel, 139 Valley Road, Wakefield on Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Monday, December 17, 2001 at 1 p.m. Interment at St. Andrew's United Church, Poltimore, Quebec.
