Peacefully at the Hospice at May Court on Thursday, December 13, 2001, aged 82 years. Don Lytle, beloved husband of Katherine Ingalls. Dear father of Martha Scott (Robert Jennings) and David. Brother-in-law of Joan Lytle. Uncle of Celia (Randy Mytron) and Elaine (Howie Townsend). Pre-deceased by his brothers Harry and George. Don had a long career with the CBC where his last position was Corporate Director of Film Operations. No funeral service at his request. In memory of Don a memorial donation to the Canadian Cancer Society, University of Ottawa Heart Institute, or Amnesty International, would be appreciated by his family. The family wishes to sincerely thank all the doctors, nurses and support staff on Floor 5B at the Ottawa Hospital, Civic Campus and everyone at the Hospice at May Court for their dedication, caring and support.
