Long time member of St. Basil's Church Suddenly in hospital on Friday, December 14, 2001 at the age of 84, with family by her side. Beloved wife of the late Hector Chaput. Loving mother of John (Helen), Katie, Margie (David Nicol), Mary, Jannie (Jeff O'Neill) and Jerry (Audrey). Much loved grandmother of Jason, Katie, Jordie, Maia, Jessica, Sarah, Maegan, Justin, Bailey, Matthew and Norah. Dear sister of Eleanor Wisking (Albert). Long time friend of the Ladies of St. Basil's Church. Predeceased by three brothers, Michael, Manning and Newman. Special thanks extended to the ICU staff at the Ottawa (Civic) Hospital, especially Nurse Kelly. The family will receive friends at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 235 Kent Street on Saturday from 7-9 p.m. and Sunday. Funeral Mass in St. Basil's Roman Catholic Church on Monday at 11:00 a.m. Interment Pinecrest Cemetery. Donations to C.N.I.B, 320 McLeod Street, Ottawa, would be appreciated by the family.
