A. D. HENDERSON

Born Kelowna, B.C. July 4, 1921, peacefully at Elisabeth Bruyere Health Centre after a courageous battle with cancer on Friday, December 14, 2001. He is survived by his beloved wife and partner Halcyon, his dear and supportive children Karen Thompson (Bob) of Rhode Island, Margot O'Neil (David) of Ottawa, Jamie Henderson (Michele) of North Vancouver and Barbara Henderson of Ottawa. Dear grandpa of Fraser, Kyle, James, David and Alicia. The family will receive friends at the Westboro Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 403 Richmond Rd. at Roosevelt on Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. At Don's request, there will be no service. Cremation. The family wishes to thank Dr. D. Bishop, Dr. P. Hall and the doctors and nurses at Elisabeth Bruyere Health Centre for their excellent care, the Victorian Order of Nurses for their kind and professional service and a very special thank you to "Gord" whose care, loyalty and strength gave Don joy, courage and energy.
