Peacefully, in Ottawa, on Saturday, December 15, 2001. Beloved husband of Gertrude Schwartz. Devoted father and father-in-law of Murray of Florida, Ellen and Mel Segal of Ottawa. Cherished Papa of Philip, David, Charlie and Max. Dear brother of Charles, Sybil Straker of California, Helen Kaufman, Vera Pollock, the late Dr. Harry, the late Dora Blackman, the late Peter, the late Roslyn Schwartzman, the late Martin Kerner, the late Zelma Fields. Sadly mounred by his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, many nieces and nephews. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons 3888 Jean Talon W., Montreal on Monday, December 17 at 10 a.m. Burial at the Shaare Zion Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield, Quebec. Shiva at 436 Mansfield Ave., Ottawa. The mourners will receive family and friends immediately following the cemetery at the Omni Hotel on Sherbrook St. W., Montreal.
