Doreen BARON

Doreen Baron, beloved wife and partner of Bert Baron for almost fifty-nine years, passed away at the Rockyview General Hospital on December 15, 2001 at the age of eighty. She was the loving mother of daughters Cheryl (Bob) Shiell, Judi (Chris) Baron Bown and Gail (Peter) Gold. Doreen will be greatly missed by grandchildren Michael (Julie) Bercuson, Sharon Bercuson, Avrum Gold and Jeffrey Gold and great-granddaughter Haley Bercuson. She is also survived by her sister Maida Litwack and her aunt Eva Wolfe. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to Dr. Peter Thornton and the staff of Rockyview Hospital, especially Unit 59. Funeral services will be held at the Jewish Memorial Chapel, 1702-17th Avenue S.W., on Sunday, December 16, 2001 at 3 p.m. Interment to follow at Beth Tzedec Memorial Park, 162 Avenue S.W. if friends so desire, donations may be made directly to a charity of the donors choice or to the Hebrew University.
