After a courageous battle with leukemia, passed away in his sixty-ninth year at the Royal Victoria Hospital, December 16, 2001. Beloved husband of forty-eight years to Lore (nee Sayer). Loving father of Linda (Danny) and Josef Jr. Loving grandfather (Opa) of Stephanie and Jaclyn. Also left to mourn is his stepbrother Louis Takats of Chicago. We are comforted knowing he is finally resting in peace. The family will receive relatives and friends at Alfred Dallaire Funeral Home at 123 Maple, Chateauguay. Visitation will be Wednesday evening, December 19 from 7 to 9 p.m. Church service will be held Thursday, December 20 at 10 a.m., Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 295 McLeod, Chateauguay.
