Died peacefully on Sunday, December 16, 2001 in his eighty-second year. Bert will be sadly missed by Mary MacPhee, his children Barbara (Richard Forsythe), Gordon (Doriane Caza), Michael and Peter as well as his grandchildren Paul Forsythe (Cynthia Svoronos), Michelle Forsythe, Amy Robinson Alburez (Luis) and his delightful great-granddaughter Jessica Alburez. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 22, 2001 at 3 p.m. from the chapel of the J.P. MacKimmie Funeral Home, 660 Main St., Lachute, Quebec. Visitation from 1:30 p.m. until time of service. No flowers please, but donations in his memory to the Canadian Parkinson Foundation would be appreciated. The Montreal Gazette, Dec. 19, 2001
